Requirements:
The RN Clinical Trainer will be responsible for the delivery of training to our clinical staff in alignment with delivering superior patient care. The Clinical Trainer will work closely with the Clinical Operations Management Team to ensure care and services are delivered effectively, consistently, and satisfactorily across our clinics.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Conducts frequent clinic visits to provide training for newly hired OR Circulators and OR Sterilizers Monitors clinical skills and competence of OR Circulators/OR Sterilizers and provides timely and relevant feedback through ongoing coaching Facilitates and leads education and continuing professional development for OR Circulators/OR Sterilizers across our clinics Acts as a role model and expert clinical practitioner in the delivery of patient care Promotes a progressive attitude to the continual improvement of patient care through research and evidence-based clinical practice Undertakes clinical duties as and when appropriate according to the demands of the business
Required Skills/Abilities:
Strong leadership skills including change management Excellent verbal and written communications skills Exceptional coaching skills Detailed oriented, team player, and ability to adapt to various work environments
Education and Experience:
Bachelors or higher in business, healthcare or complementary degree Minimum 1+ year experience in a Training Delivery position
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of standing, bending and reaching low or overhead High-level visual and auditory acuity for timely response and patient care assessment activities Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally, up to 20 lbs. frequently and/or up to 10 lbs. constantly Category I exposure to bloodborne pathogens; frequent exposure to chemical hazards; may encounter radiation hazards
Travel Requirements:
At least 50-75% local and out of state travel required
