Description Assistant Nurse Manager – St. Lukes RehabilitationInstitute, Spokane WA The Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) is aprofessional Registered Nurse reporting to the unitdirector/manager who utilizes the nursing process to manageclinical and operational activities within assigned shift. The ANMis responsible for supporting the director/manager in planning,organizing, directing, and evaluating services of the unit andproviding managerial presence for all shifts. The ANM isresponsible for managing clinical and non-clinical caregivers andproviding input to the director/manager for evaluation purposesrelated to performance. Duties include but not limited tocompliance to professional nursing standards and regulatoryrequirements; implementing and monitoring compliance to policies,processes and clinical priorities, coaching, mentoring andcollaborating to deliver quality health care to patients. Undersupervision of the unit director/manager responsible for themanagement and staffing of the unit and other duties as assigned.
The ANM manages and coordinates the unit, directs and supervisesfunctions and activities, interprets policies/procedures/protocols,standards, and regulations as appropriate. The scope ofresponsibility spans all aspects of nursing care. The ANM maintainsclinical competence and certifications to assist the unit whenrequired.

Full time, 38 hours per week, 8 – hour Night shift
RequiredQualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree:
Graduate from School of nursing (BS, orBSN). Registered Nurses employed in this role prior to November 1,2024 are encouraged to pursue the BSN degree but obtaining thedegree will not be a condition of employment.
