Heartland Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Boca Raton is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Unit Supervisor to lead our evening shift team.
Job Responsibilities:
Plan, develop, organize, and direct nursing services on the assigned unit. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and facility regulations. Address and report staff complaints/grievances as needed. Maintain adequate inventory of medications, supplies, and equipment. Participate in the assessment and care planning for residents. Assign duties to nursing and aide staff to ensure quality care delivery. Promote continued staff education and participation in training programs. Review nurses’ documentation to ensure clarity, compliance, and alignment with residents’ needs and preferences.
Qualifications:
RN license in good standing (no disciplinary actions). Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution. Minimum 2 years of direct care experience in a long-term care, geriatric, or restorative setting. At least 1 year of nursing management or supervisory experience. Current CPR Certification . Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
