POSITION SUMMARY

The Nurse Manager is a registered nurse who, usingcritical thinking skills, directs and evaluates patient careactivities occurring within her/his assigned area of demonstratedclinical expertise. The Nurse Manager must have the ability to leadand motivate professional and ancillary staff to develop theirpractice, knowledge and skill base, while coordinating with othermembers of the health care team to ensure quality patient care.
