We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursing Supervisor to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing nursing staff, ensuring high standards of patient care, and promoting a collaborative environment. This position requires strong leadership skills, clinical expertise, and a commitment to enhancing patient outcomes. This position is hands on and will be required to perform medication pass when floor nurse is off or due to time off. Responsibilities Supervise nursing staff and coordinate patient care activities to ensure optimal service delivery. Conduct physical examinations and assess patients’ health status. Administer medications and manage acute pain effectively. Implement infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff. Provide health coaching to patients and their families, promoting wellness and preventive care. Facilitate team management by mentoring and supporting nursing staff in their professional development. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans for patients. Requirements Valid nursing license with supervisory experience in a healthcare setting. Proficient in patient care techniques, including medication administration and infection control practices. Strong skills in acute pain management and airway management. Experience in conducting physical examinations and health assessments. Excellent team management abilities with a focus on fostering collaboration among staff members. Knowledge of health coaching principles to support patient education initiatives. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
