We’re looking for a dedicated professional to join our inpatient Wound Care team at Winter Haven Hospital where your skills will make a lasting, life-changing impact! Your role within the team:
Are you an experienced nurse ready to take on a leadership role in wound care? We are looking for a passionate, skilled nurse with previous leadership experience and a commitment to evidence-based clinical excellence. As a Wound Care Nurse, you will: Provide specialized care for wound care and ostomy patients while utilizing effective leadership and managerial skills. Act as a professional role model and mentor for the nursing team, fostering collaboration and growth. Take on the role of preceptor and charge nurse, ensuring high-quality patient care and team coordination. Qualifications A minimum of 2 years of RN experience with 1 year wound related experience. Previous leadership experience is preferred. Strong knowledge of treating a variety of wounds. BSN or BS in a healthcare-related field is required and/ or RN Professional Nurse Specialty Certification must be obtained within 7 months of hire/promotion. Basic Life Support (BLS), Registered Nurse (RN) License, and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) as applicable. Nurse Specialty Certification in wound or ostomy care (Preferred).
