OF RESPONSIBILITIES
Lightshare Behavioral Wellness and Recovery is seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursing Supervisor to lead and support our nursing team in delivering high-quality, compassionate care. This role plays a critical part in overseeing nursing operations, maintaining compliance with healthcare standards, and ensuring continuity of care for clients undergoing behavioral health and recovery services.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida. 3+ years of nursing experience, preferably in behavioral health or substance use treatment settings. 1+ year of supervisory or charge nurse experience strongly preferred. CPR/BLS certification (required). Strong understanding of detox protocols, medication-assisted treatment (MAT), and behavioral health regulations. Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and client-centered environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITES
Supervise, mentor, and coordinate daily activities of the nursing staff to ensure effective, efficient, and client-centered care. Oversee the clinical care of clients in detox and residential settings, ensuring compliance with treatment protocols and medical standards. Collaborate with medical providers, therapists, and administrative staff to support integrated care. Monitor medication administration, documentation, and inventory, ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory protocols. Participate in hiring, training, and ongoing performance evaluations of nursing staff. Maintain accurate, timely documentation in client records, supporting continuity of care and audit readiness. Respond to client medical emergencies and provide clinical decision-making support as needed. Assist with the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and quality assurance measures. Participate in clinical meetings, audits, and interdisciplinary case reviews. Provides direct supervision of nurses and behavioral health techs and supervisory observation on a daily basis Follows company procedures for hiring qualified staff Assumes responsibility to identify and oversee staff training needs Computer Literacy Completes all training requirements in a timely manner Completes all other duties and special projects as assigned
