JobSummary and Qualifications The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC)ensures and delivers high quality, patient-centered care andcoordination of all functions in the unit/department during thedesignated shift. In collaboration with other members of themanagement team, the CNC directs, monitors, and evaluates nursingcare in accordance with established policies/procedures, serves asa resource person for staff, and models a commitment to theorganization’s vision/mission/values to support an unparalleledpatient experience and clinical outcomes that contribute to overalldepartmental performance. What you will do in this role:

• Assistswith admission and discharge processes to ensure efficientthroughput and high quality, patient-centered care.
• Participatesin the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care servicesprovided in the unit, in collaboration with other members of themanagement team.
• Collaborates with subject matter experts andother managers to create an environment of teamwork that supportsimproved outcomes and service.
• Supports a patient-firstphilosophy and engages in service recovery when necessary.
• Supports the efforts of the facility to improve engagement byoperationalizing current nursing strategies, including employeerounding, hourly rounds, and other initiatives.
• Providesrecommendations related to interviewing, selecting, and trainingnew staff. Recommends and implements courses of action, includingtraining and development, conflict resolution, personnel policycompliance, completion of performance evaluations, and/ordisciplinary actions to ensure a competitively better organization
• Assists with staff scheduling. Manages all practical aspects ofstaff labor in accordance with patient care needs and establishedproductivity guidelines.
• Supports proper inventory control andassists with managing supplies and equipment.

What qualificationsyou will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within60 months of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Supportmust be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Registered Nurse
• Registered Nurse Diploma
