This includes: policy and procedures are followed; safe staffinglevels are maintained; supplies and equipment are at sufficientlevels; and efficient patient throughput is managed. Engages inongoing quality and performance improvement and assures employeescomplete required annual competencies. Maintains own professionalgrowth and development in nursing leadership and requiredlicensure. Communicates important information to the Director ofthe unit and the CNO as needed.
