Job Details:

Mercer Medicine is searching for a Nurse Manager for the Mercer Medicine clinic in Macon, GA .

Responsibilities:

The Nurse Manager will serve as the lead nurse, and will oversee the volume of patients and delegate tasks to clinical team members so that there is an efficient process for the flow of patients through intake, care, and checkout within the Mercer Medicine outpatient multispecialty clinic in Macon. This position will assist with developing clinic policies and procedures for clinical care and recruit and onboard essential clinical staff. The Nurse Manager will be responsible for evaluating the performance of clinic support staff and nurses, providing feedback and mentoring, developing education programs, and contributing to staff development. The role will also require assisting with developing department budgets and evaluating/maintaining inventory of medicines, equipment, and supplies.

Qualifications:

An Associate’s degree in Nursing is required, with a preference for a BSN or MSN, and five years of clinical nursing management experience, with at least three years in a supervisory or leadership role. Registered Nurse with licensure in the state of Georgia. Candidates must have a valid CPR certification.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Knowledge of healthcare regulations, quality improvement processes, and patient safety initiatives. Ability to provide leadership, especially in nursing care methods and procedures. Knowledge of HIPPA laws. Proficient in medical terminology. Ability to handle and resolve conflicts effectively. Excellent communication, organizational, ad leadership skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
