• Provide direct care to residents, including administering medications, performing venipuncture, and collecting and processing specimens.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each resident.
• Utilize electronic medical records (EMRs) such as PCC to accurately document patient information and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
• Oversee the daily operations of the nursing unit, ensuring that all aspects of patient care are meeting the highest standards.
• Supervise and mentor other nursing staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and knowledge.
• Provide dementia and memory care to residents with cognitive impairments, utilizing evidence-based practices and therapies.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to continuously improve the quality of patient care.
• Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
