Job Summary:

The RN Unit Manager will oversee all aspects of nursing care on their assigned unit, ensuring residents receive the highest quality care possible. This leadership role is ideal for an experienced, compassionate Registered Nurse with a strong background in nursing home management and a passion for fostering a supportive, person-centered environment for both staff and residents. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional communication skills, strong leadership capabilities, and a genuine desire to improve the quality of life for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily operations of the nursing unit, ensuring that all patient care meets facility standards and regulatory requirements. Supervise, train, and mentor nursing staff to ensure optimal performance and professional development. Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for residents, ensuring their medical, physical, and emotional needs are met. Maintain effective communication with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure a coordinated and compassionate approach to care. Monitor and manage staffing levels, scheduling, and daily assignments for nursing personnel. Participate in facility-wide quality assurance initiatives and drive improvements in patient care practices. Ensure compliance with state and federal healthcare regulations. Advocate for the residents and promote a positive, safe, and engaging environment for them to live and thrive.

Qualifications:

Active RN License in the state of Georgia. Minimum of 3-5 years of nursing home management experience with strong leadership and team-building skills. Proven ability to oversee and train nursing staff in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Exceptional interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to work well with residents, families, and staff. A deep, genuine care for the wellbeing of our residents, with a focus on person-centered care. Knowledge of state and federal regulations governing nursing homes. Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.

$50.00 – $55.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week
