Med Tele Charge-RN ALTEN Calsoft Labs Atlanta, GA Job Summary As a Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for overseeing the nursing staff and ensuring high-quality patient care in a healthcare setting. Duties Supervise and coordinate nursing staff activities Provide direct patient care and administer medications Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans Monitor patient vital signs and symptoms Assist in medical procedures such as catheterization and wound care Educate patients and their families on health management Maintain accurate medical records using electronic health record systems like Cerner Qualifications Strong knowledge of ICD-9 coding and anatomy Experience in primary care, critical care transport, emergency room, and hospice palliative medicine Proficiency in pain management techniques Ability to work with people with disabilities Familiarity with Cerner or similar electronic health record systems
