$100,000 – $104,000 per yearshift: Firstwork hours: 8 AM – 5
PMeducation:
BachelorsResponsibilities Work with the Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to determine staffing levels per shift on each unit (floor). Confirm staffing is in place, assign, and direct staff as needed, and work closely with the Scheduler to address absences and vacancies, minimizing overtime. Review and approve timecards for direct reports, confirming accuracy and addressing any discrepancies. Maintain accurate, confidential employee files, providing timely updates and compliance with HR policies. This includes documentation of disciplinary actions and safeguarding sensitive information. Review and update physician orders, nurses notes, and resident assessments as conditions change. Assist with writing and updating care plans. The position also includes administrative duties such as maintaining patient records, managing staffing schedules, and contributing to care plan meetings. Serve as the administrative authority during assigned shifts, communicating any urgent concerns to the Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON), Director of Nursing (DON), or Nursing Home Administrator (NHA). Conduct audits of resident documentation, including new admissions, re-admissions, and skin assessments, ensuring accuracy and completion.
