The Nursing Supervisor will play a crucial role in promoting best practices in patient care and fostering a collaborative environment among healthcare professionals. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate nursing staff activities to ensure efficient operations and high standards of patient care on the weekend Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, as needed. Implement infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff. Provide guidance on family planning services and support patients through various healthcare needs. Monitor compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational policies. Facilitate communication between patients, families, and the healthcare team to address concerns and improve care delivery. Experience A valid RN nursing license with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a clinical setting. Previous supervisory or leadership experience is preferred. Proficiency in PointClick Care or similar electronic health record systems is highly desirable. Knowledge and experience working in a nursing home or SNF setting is preferred Strong knowledge of infection control practices, patient assessment techniques, and primary care protocols. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
