Our Memory Care neighborhood at Sugar Hill offers specialized care for residents with cognitive impairments in a beautiful, supportive environment. We’re seeking a compassionate, experienced Registered or Licensed Practical Nurse to lead our Memory Care team. Job Overview The Nurse Memory Care Director oversees all aspects of our Memory Care program including resident health and wellness, specialized programming, staff supervision, assessments and care planning, service delivery, and regulatory compliance. This leadership role directly impacts the quality of life for our memory care residents and guides a dedicated team of caregivers. Key Responsibilities Lead, train, and develop Memory Care staff while ensuring appropriate staffing level Oversee clinical aspects of resident care, utilizing nursing expertise to address health needs Develop and implement resident service plans, ensuring timely assessments and updates Ensure timely family care and service plan meetings Manage documentation in Point Click Care and Point of Care systems Coordinate specialized programming for residents with cognitive impairments Ensure compliance with Georgia Assisted Living Community regulations Serve as liaison between Memory Care, other departments, resident families, and healthcare providers Respond to medical emergencies and changes in resident conditions Implement best practices in dementia care throughout the program Qualifications Current, unencumbered Georgia Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required Minimum 3 years of nursing experience with at least 2 years in memory care, assisted living, or long-term care Prior supervisory or management experience required Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) preferred or willingness to obtain Knowledge of Georgia Assisted Living Community regulations Experience with Point Click Care and QuickMar preferred Strong leadership, clinical assessment, and communication skills Compassionate approach to dementia care Benefits Competitive salary Comprehensive health benefits Paid time off 401(k) with company match Professional development opportunities Supportive and collaborative work environment Holbrook Life is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
