Charge Nurse, full-time days Piedmont Henry Hospital 4 South Cardiac Telemetry Its Time to Get Better at Piedmont! Join us at Piedmont Henry as we continue to grow! We are a 32 bed Cardiac/Pulmonary Unit with Hospitalists /APPs 24/7. Also included in our staff mix are Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, Respiratory Therapists, and Patient Care Technicians. Typical nurse to patient ratio is 1:4/ 1:5. 4 South 32 Beds Arrythmia Management o Cardioversion o Pharmacologic Management o Tikosyn Loading Management of titratable Cardiac drips o Amiodarone, Milrinone, Cardizem, Bumex, Heparin, Dobutamine, Dopamine, Lasix, Nitroglycerine Management of Bipap Telemetry Monitoring Management of High-Flow Management of post intra-cardiac defibrillator and pacemaker placement Post Cardiac-catherization Care o TR Band Management DKA management o Glucommander and titratable Insulin drip

RESPONSIBLE FOR

Coordinates the delivery of quality nursing care for patients from birth through the lifecycle, as well as operational issues during his/her shift. Provides clinical care as needed when census demands. Communicates patient care, departmental issues, and staff concerns to the appropriate leader(s). Serves as resource for guidance and assistance to the staff.

Qualifications:
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED

Graduate of a nursing program.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

One year of nursing experience in a hospital setting required.

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW

Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License. BLS certification required.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

Two or more years of nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable. Demonstrated clinical competency.
