Full Job Description Description:
This Registered Nurse role coordinates and ensures the delivery of high-quality nursing care for patients across the lifespan during their assigned shift. The Charge Nurse also manages operational issues and provides direct clinical care when needed. They serve as a key communication link for patient care, departmental matters, and staff concerns to leadership, and act as a resource for staff guidance and support.
Qualifications:
Graduate of a nursing program. Minimum of one (1) year of nursing experience in a hospital setting. Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Georgia or NLC/eNLC Multistate License. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Preferred:
Two (2) or more years of nursing experience in a hospital setting.
Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree.
