This position is FT, Nights, three 12 hour shifts per week from 7pm – 7 am, including weekends and holidays.
SIGN ON BONUS OF
$10,000 FOR
NIGHT SHIFT EXPERIENCED NURSES. RESPONSIBLE FOR
Coordinates the delivery of quality nursing care for patients frombirth through the lifecycle, as well as operational issues duringhis/her shift. Provides clinical care as needed when censusdemands. Communicates patient care, departmental issues, and staffconcerns to the appropriate leader(s). Serves as resource forguidance and assistance to the staff. The renal urology unit is fast-paced, requiring nurses to workquickly, be accountable, and take ownership of patients. 1 to 6patient to nurse maximum ratio. Charge to RN 1 to 9 nurses maximumratio.
Qualifications:
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED
Graduate of a nursing program.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
One year of nursing experience in a hospital setting required.
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW
Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse orNLC/eNLC Multistate License. BLS certification required.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Two or more years of nursing experience in a hospital settingpreferred. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Advanced certification infield of specialty, if applicable. Demonstrated clinicalcompetency.
