RESPONSIBLE FOR
Coordinates the delivery ofquality nursing care for patients from birth through the lifecycle,as well as operational issues during his/her shift. Providesclinical care as needed when census demands. Communicates patientcare, departmental issues, and staff concerns to the appropriateleader(s). Serves as resource for guidance and assistance to thestaff.
Qualifications:
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED
Graduate of anursing program.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
One year of nursingexperience in a hospital setting required.
MINIMUMLICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW
Current License in theState of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC MultistateLicense. BLS certification required.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Twoor more years of nursing experience in a hospital settingpreferred. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Advanced certification infield of specialty, if applicable. Demonstrated clinicalcompetency.
