RN Unit Manager 3.0 3.0 out of 5 stars Rossville, GA 30741 The Center for Advanced Rehab at Parkside is seeking an experienced RN Unit Manager to oversee all aspects of operating a unit within a health care facility, from supervising nursing staff to monitoring patient care . Extensive clinical experience a must, prior administrative experience and training in both nursing and administration. Must have a minimum of 2 years of LTC experience.

Duties of RN Unit Manager:

Oversee unit Assist with treatment and medication administration Assist with Admissions Participate in family meetings and discharge planning process Attend and participate in weekly Medicare meetings Serve as liaison between family, patient, doctor and other departments Participate in managing staff and assignments to ensure quality of care Participate and report on patient conditions in weekly risk meetings

Requirements:

Must have a valid RN License. Experience in Skilled Nursing facility or Long-Term Care Nursing or has sufficient acute care experience to adjust to the demands of Long-Term Care Nursing Prior experience as a Unit Manager, Charge Nurse, or Supervisor preferred. Minimum three (2) years’ experience in a supervisory capacity either in a hospital, long term care facility, or other related medical facility, training in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practice.
