GENERAL DESCRIPTION

We are a busy Adult Day Health program in Taunton serving elderly and physically/developmentally disabled adults seeks qualified RN for a Healthcare Manager position to oversee the program’s medical component. Previous supervisory experience and leadership skills required. Knowledge of Department of Public Health and MassHealth regulations required. Must be comfortable providing direct care of elderly and disabled population. No weekends and 12 paid holidays. In this role, you will: Coordinate Health related activities, ie., nutrition counseling, physical exercise, blood pressure montioring, medication, etc. Provide and/or supervise nursing services for each member, including all skilled nursing services as necessary and appropriate. Coordinate the development and ongoing review of each participant’s care plan. Train staff in specialized services for individual’s health needs, i.e., use of wheelchair, diets, and awareness lifting, etc. Supervise medication management services and develop medication polices and procedures.

REQUIREMENTS

Current licensure as a Registered Nurse and 2 year’s experience with elderly and/or developmentally disabled population. Previous supervisory experience overseeing nursing staff. Recognize and respect individual family cultures Understand the importance of and respect for confidentiality Possess strong organizational skills to balance productivity needs and required paperwork Adapt well to a fast-paced work environment and are highly organized with solid time management skills.
