We’re seeking a committed and compassionate Head of Care to lead our dedicated nursing team within a specialist service supporting individuals with complex care needs and neurological conditions. What We’re Looking For:
RGN qualification with valid NMC registration. Strong experience leading a nursing team or managing a ward, ideally in a complex care, neurorehabilitation, or similar setting. Excellent knowledge of Clinical Governance , CQC standards, and safeguarding protocols. Proven ability to coach, mentor, and develop staff. Mentorship in Practice (MIP) qualification (or willingness to achieve it). A compassionate, forward-thinking leader committed to excellence in care delivery. Key Responsibilities:
Lead the day-to-day clinical operations, ensuring high-quality care and compliance with CQC standards. Develop personalised care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams for residents with complex and neurological conditions. Monitor clinical standards, conduct audits, and drive quality improvements across the service. Provide clinical supervision, mentoring, and support to nursing staff, fostering a positive and inclusive working environment. Work closely with families, GPs, specialists, and other stakeholders to ensure coordinated care. Stay current with clinical best practices, safeguarding requirements, and regulatory updates relevant to complex care settings.
