  • Ongoing training, career advancement programs, tuition reimbursement, and leadership development Eliot is seeking a Nurse Manager to join our Adult Community Clinical Services (ACCS) team.

Adult Community Clinical Services (ACCS) provides clinically focused evidenced based interventions to adults with severe and persistent mental illness. The ideal candidate will oversee and work alongside a multidisciplinary team to ensure that psychiatric and medical care are coordinated ensuring clients have support to address their health needs.

Responsibilities:

Promote concepts of health and wellness. Assist Persons with accessing information and services related to medical care, nutrition, exercise and smoking cessation as appropriate. Assist Persons with accessing community resources that support these healthy areas. Coordinate nursing and medical care for clients utilizing education and community resources. Provide leadership, support and clinical guidance to nursing staff, modeling recovery

  • based language and interventions.

Assist nursing staff in developing sound clinical judgment and using skills to effectively respond to consumer needs. Supervise nurses in the coordination, scheduling and administering of medical assessments and overall medical care Assist in the development and delivery of training and in-services for staff members. Ensure communication of medical or health concerns with psychiatric and medical providers, as needed. Lead and oversee medication administration and medical services in accordance with applicable regulations.

Qualifications:

Requires an Associates Degree in Nursing Current RN License from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Experience working with adults with severe and persistent mental illnesses Experience working in a supervisory capacity Valid Massachusetts driver’s license and reliable transportation At Eliot, we are committed to supporting you at every stage of your career, providing opportunities for growth, purpose, and community.
