Job Summary:
The Staff Development Coordinator is a supervisory position responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating educational programs for nursing staff, focusing on maintaining clinical competency, updating knowledge on best practices, and ensuring staff are adequately trained to deliver safe and quality patient care. Key responsibilities include needs assessment, curriculum development, delivering in-service training, facilitating orientation for new nurses, and collaborating with unit leaders to identify and address training gaps.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION
Graduation from an accredited, approved school of nursing. Current Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse Licensure with the State Board of Nurse Examiners is required.
Training and Experience:
At least one year of nursing experience.
Salary:
$80,000 – $85,000 per year
