RN Unit Manager Daimanta Solutions Private Limited 105 Mechanic Street, Camden, ME 04843 Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager to lead nursing operations in our nursing home facility. This role plays a vital part in managing clinical care delivery and staff performance in a rehabilitation (rehab) and long-term care (LTC) setting. The RN Unit Manager is responsible for coordinating resident care plans, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering a positive and efficient work environment for nursing staff. This leadership position is essential to maintaining high-quality standards of care for our residents. Key Responsibilities Supervise and support nursing staff in daily clinical operations across the rehab and LTC units. Oversee resident care planning, assessment, and implementation of treatment plans in accordance with physician directives and facility policies. Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations related to nursing home and long-term care services. Conduct performance evaluations, offer coaching, and provide leadership to promote staff development and high morale. Monitor and ensure accurate completion of documentation and medical records for residents in compliance with guidelines. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including therapists, dietitians, and social workers to ensure holistic care. Handle resident and family concerns with professionalism, ensuring timely and empathetic resolution. Provide education and mentorship to staff on policies, procedures, and best practices in geriatric and rehabilitative care. Ensure proper use and maintenance of clinical equipment and supplies within the nursing home unit. Qualifications Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a nursing home, rehab, or long-term care (LTC) facility. Prior experience in a supervisory or unit manager role strongly preferred. Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to LTC and skilled nursing facilities. Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to manage complex care needs in geriatric populations. Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and documentation protocols. Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and resident-centered care environment.

$61.00 – $70.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week
