Charge Nurse Job Description Duties:

• Provide direct patient care and supervise nursing staff
• Develop and implement patient care plans
• Coordinate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care
• Perform discharge planning and education for patients and their families
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Assist in the care of geriatric, hospice, and dementia patients
• Perform specimen collection processing
• Provide health coaching to patients and their families

Qualifications:

• Active nursing license in the state of employment
• Experience in Long Term Care preffered
• Knowledge of Point Click Care or similar electronic health record system is preferred
