Charge Nurse 3.7 3.7 out of 5 stars 26894 East Main Street, West Point, MS 39773 Charge Nurse (2p-10p, Full-Time, Monday-Friday) Dugan Memorial Home – West Point, MS We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate LPN Charge Nurse to join our team at Dugan Memorial Home, a trusted provider of skilled nursing and long-term care services in the Golden Triangle area. In this vital role, you will oversee the care of our Elders while leading and supporting a team of caregivers to ensure the highest quality of care.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct nursing care to Elders in accordance with care plans and physician instructions. Supervise and guide CNAs and other care team members to ensure effective care delivery. Administer medications and treatments accurately and monitor for adverse reactions. Conduct ongoing assessments to monitor Elders’ conditions and adjust care plans as needed. Communicate effectively with Elders, families, and interdisciplinary team members. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record system. Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, policies, and procedures. Respond promptly to changes in Elders’ conditions and provide appropriate interventions.
Qualifications:
Current LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) license in the state of Mississippi. Previous experience in a skilled nursing, long-term care, or senior living environment preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and critical-thinking skills. Ability to supervise, motivate, and support a care team effectively. Proficiency in using electronic health record systems and Microsoft Office. Compassion, patience, and a strong commitment to resident-centered care.
