Exempt Summary of Position The Nurse Manager will provide frontline leadership to the clinical staff and deliver excellent patient care. The Nurse Manager will be responsible for creating an environment of patient-focused care, defining standards for quality patient care, managing and developing work-based teams for assigned shifts, training the new staff and providing leadership to our clinical team. Minimum Qualifications Must have valid RN licensure in North Carolina Must have minimum five years of professional nursing experience including two years supervisory-level experience Must have knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life-span, possess the ability to collect patient data, and communicate the appropriate information to identify the needs of the patient Must be able to speak and communicate clearly and effectively Must be able to work independently, exercise appropriate decision-making skills, and function effectively on a team.
Education :
Must have a valid RN degree and be licensed in
North Carolina Experience :
Must have minimum five years of professional nursing experience including two years supervisory-level experience Certification(s)/

North Carolina Knowledge:
Knowledge and thorough understanding of Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC’s) in regard to the Federal 330 Public Health Service Act Knowledge of thorough understanding of the 340B program Knowledge of computer systems and applications.

Essential Functions Must ensure continual delivery of high quality nursing care Must ensure that nursing staff remains in compliance with professional development and regulatory standards Monitor clinic activity and patient flow to ensure efficient and effective patient care Collaborates with departmental partners to enhance positive patient and staff outcomes Coordinates departmental orientation to new employees and ensure completion of orientation and training prior to working independently Maintains and adjusts work schedules to ensure optimal staffing across functional areas within the clinic Ensure adequate stock of regular supplies and place order for needed inventory Communicates effectively presenting a positive and professional image in all interactions Works collaboratively to drive Quality Improvement initiatives and a culture of improvement and safety for assigned clinic Investigate and resolve patient and staff complaints, referring issues to others as needed Demonstrates sound clinical judgment Participate as an active member of the RCCHC team Maintain compliance with workflows, policies and procedures as well as other activities to support PCMH model of care and accreditation Other job duties may be required that are not listed above.
