Summary The Nurse Manager demonstrates knowledge of the gerontologicalresident’s physical, social, emotional and psychological needsbased upon observation, staff input and the residents requiredhealth care needs. Responsible for the direction and supervision ofthe nursing staff on the assigned shift. Responsible for making theappropriate administrative decisions based upon the facilitiespolicies and nursing standards. Ensures compliance with the DHSS,OSHA, Standards of Nursing Practice and other regulatory agencieswithin the health care practices in the facility and direction ofthe Nursing Supervisor. Job Qualifications Degreed Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse Current RN license in the state you will be working IV Certified or willing to obtain within six months ofemployment CPR/AED Certification or willing to become certified within sixmonths of employment Two years of long-term care supervisory experience preferred Three to five years of long-term care experience or similar nursingexperience Excellent communication skills to interact with patients, visitorsand staff Ability to manage time and organize daily schedule to meetproductivity standards #CB Pay range: $63,943 – $106,407 annually
