Job Summary:
The NICU Manager is a nurse leader who performs the primary functions of assessing, planning, implementing, directing, and evaluating patient care for his/her designated unit(s). Manages all personnel, supplies and equipment necessary to facilitate safe, quality patient care. Keeps abreast of techniques, skills, current evidence based practices and regulations appropriate to age of patients served. Will oversee approx. 31 FTE’s, Hours are 8am-5pm (weekends as needed).
Experience desired:
BSN Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing. Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina (or eligible) Maintains current certification in BLS and NRP. Minimum of 2 years’ recent management experience.
