The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of patient care protocols. This role is crucial for ensuring the delivery of high-quality care while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations. The Manager will work closely with staff to foster a positive environment that promotes teamwork and exceptional patient outcomes. Responsibilities Supervise daily operations and ensure adherence to healthcare standards and protocols. Manage staff performance, providing guidance, training, and support as needed. Oversee medical documentation processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with HIPAA regulations. Coordinate patient care activities, including tube feeding and catheterization as necessary. Implement acute pain management strategies for patients requiring specialized care. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes in acute care settings. Ensure proper use of neonatal ventilators in relevant cases, ensuring staff are trained in their operation. Maintain a safe and efficient work environment while addressing any operational challenges. Foster relationships with external partners, including nursing homes and home care services. Requirements BSN Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing. Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina. Maintains current certification in BLS and NRP. Minimum of 2 years’ recent management experience. Knowledge of, and ability to, develop strategies to apply current theoretical approaches to the delivery of patient care. Knowledge of current leadership, management and quality improvement concepts. Ability to perform and/or lead program development and implementation. Strong quality service skills. Strong written and oral communication skills. Ability to deal with the public.
