Monitor compliance with healthcare regulations and standards, including those specific to a Level II Trauma Center. Conduct performance evaluations and facilitate ongoing training for nursing staff to enhance skills in areas such as IV insertion, geriatrics, family planning, and hospital medicine. Manage patient records and documentation accurately, ensuring coding is performed correctly for billing purposes. Promote health coaching initiatives among patients to encourage healthy lifestyle choices. Maintain knowledge of anatomy and laboratory processes to support clinical decision-making. Qualifications Registered Nurse (RN) with an active state license; BSN preferred. Proven experience in a leadership role within a healthcare setting, preferably in a trauma or acute care environment. Strong clinical skills with proficiency in IV insertion and familiarity with geriatrics and family planning practices. Knowledge of hospital medicine protocols and coding practices is essential.
