Clinical Mentor The Clinical Mentor provides clinical leadership to the organization ensuring the mission, vision and values of the organization are supported through the clinical services of the organization. The Clinical Mentor participates in planning, organizing, directing and facilitating the clinical operations of all households to ensure the regulatory compliance and company’s professional standards, nurture a culture of person-centered and resident direction, strengthen the ability of households to grow as separate effective homes, and promote individual and team learning.

Minimal Education:

Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing with a Bachelor’s Degree preferred and a Master’s Degree desirable.

Minimal Experience:

Three to five years on the job experience as nursing leader in skilled health care facility or retirement facility is required.

Other Qualifications:

Current license by State Board of Nursing required. Must meet regulatory requirements for licensure as registered nurse in home state. Will comply with all federal and state regulatory requirements to maintain licensure as Director of Nursing. Specialized training or experience in geriatric nursing is essential. Must have demonstrated leadership qualities, supervisory skills interpersonal relationship skills, and knowledge of federal and state regulations governing clinical care, nursing practice and management. Commitment to person-centered and resident-directed care is essential.
