Position:

Faculty in the Division of Nursing seeks one full-time, twelve-month Clinical Coordinator for the Advanced Nursing Education, Family of Nurse Practitioner, and Doctoral of Nursing tracks in the School of Health Sciences with a start date of August 2024. Job responsibilities include administrative and operational support to all aspects of the clinical placement process and ensuring the effective operation of clinical practicums by organizing, supervising, and evaluating clinical sites, preceptors, and students. Develop and sustain clinical partnerships for student clinical practicums. The clinical coordinator may be required to teach courses throughout the calendar year in addition to managerial duties and responsibilities. The successful candidate must participate in departmental, School, and university service as well as engage in service relative to the nursing profession and the larger Winston-Salem and Forsyth County communities. Education:

Preferred candidates must have a master’s degree in nursing or a health-related Field. Candidates have clinical coordination experience at the college or university level. Candidates must exhibit the ability to engage in interdisciplinary/interprofessional clinical collaboration with the broader constituencies. Candidates should show a commitment to liberal education, social justice, and social determinants of health in community environments. We welcome candidates who are proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, Canvas, and Banner platforms.
