The ideal candidate will have a strong background in geriatrics, assisted living, and nursing home environments. This role requires excellent leadership skills, a deep understanding of healthcare systems, and the ability to manage complex patient needs, including those with developmental disabilities. Responsibilities Supervise nursing staff to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and best practices. Develop and implement care plans for patients, focusing on individualized health coaching. Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care for residents. Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting care plans as necessary. Ensure proper documentation of patient care using ICD-9 coding and other relevant systems. Provide training and support to nursing staff on tube feeding, toddler care, and other specialized needs. Address any issues related to utilization management and resource allocation within the facility. Foster a positive environment that promotes teamwork and professional development among staff. Requirements Valid nursing license with supervisory experience in a healthcare setting. Strong knowledge of geriatrics, assisted living, and nursing home operations. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred. Proficiency in health coaching techniques and patient assessment methodologies. Familiarity with ICD-9 coding systems is advantageous. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
