RN Clinical Supervisor Emergency Department Full Time DaysPosition Summary:
The Clinical Supervisor in collaboration with theDirector is responsible for the continuous safe operation of theassigned department including all aspects of patient care,staffing, fiscal responsibility and strategic goals of the unit. Isa designated leader responsible for implementation, supervision,and evaluation of safe patient care while promoting a safeenvironment for employees, families, and visitors. The ClinicalSupervisor maintains clinical and professional competency asappropriate to the ages, developmental stages, and special needs ofthe population. Target 100 behavior is promoted at all times.
THERN CLINICAL SUPERVISOR ED FULL TIME DAYS CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THEFOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND
EXPERIENCE.Competent in all areas assigned. Proven leadership skills toinclude achievement, management, interpersonal relations, problemsolving, critical thinking, positive communications, and personalperformance.
Minimum Licensure and Certification:
A valid PermanentMulti-State RN License from the state in which you reside isrequired. Should you hold a RN license from another Compact state,you are required to apply for and obtain a Multi-State RN Licensefrom the state in which you reside within 30 days. BLS requiredupon hire. PALS, ACLS and CPI required within orientation. BSNpreferred. Relevant mandatory certifications for department withinorientation period.
Minimum Experience/Additional Certification:
3years of ED experience with demonstrated leadership ability.
