Clinical Supervisor – RN Rowan Diagnostic Clinic, PA 611 Mocksville Avenue, Salisbury, NC 28144 Nursing Supervisor Job Description Job Summary Seeking a Clinical Supervisor – RN to serve as a leader of the primary care healthcare team by establishing an authentic personalized relationship with the patient and their support system. In partnership with the Director of Operations, ensures implementation and success of RDC primary care goals, organizes and directs the clinical environment, and coordinates teams to ensure effective care is given to provide quality patient care in physician practices. Supervises 20 or more FTEs. Collaborates with physicians and other team members to assess, plan, implement, delegate and evaluate an individualized plan of care that promotes optimal health. Utilizes the best scientific evidence and compassion to assist the patient in navigating their health journey. Accepts responsibility, authority, and accountability for management and provision of care in accordance with the current policies and procedures. Duties Oversee all administrative and clinical aspects of a healthcare facility, ensuring smooth operations and high-quality patient care. Manage staff, budgets, and patient services, and may also be involved in audits, training, and quality assurance. Gives feedback and evaluations to team continuously to monitor appropriate team members for positions and promote employee and customer satisfaction. Essentially, they act as a bridge between upper management and clinical staff, ensuring the clinic runs efficiently and patients receive the best possible care.
Staff Management:
Hiring, training, supervising, and evaluating clinical staff.
Administrative Tasks:
Overseeing daily operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and managing the budget.
Patient Services:
Improving patient care, resolving complaints, and collaborating with medical staff.
Quality Assurance:
Auditing clinical practices, implementing quality improvement initiatives, and ensuring compliance with standards.
Communication:
Communicating the clinical perspective to broader management, liaising with medical staff, and managing internal and external communications. Skills Strong knowledge of geriatrics and long-term care practices. Proficient in basic life support techniques. Experience with spinal tap procedures is preferred but not mandatory. Ability to lift patients safely and assist with mobility as needed. Familiarity with utilization review processes for effective patient management. Knowledge of infant care practices is a plus. Excellent team management skills, fostering collaboration among nursing staff. Competence in pain management strategies to enhance patient comfort. Experience in specimen collection processing for laboratory analysis.
