Job Summary and QualificationsThe Clinical NurseCoordinator (CNC) delivers high quality, patient-centered care andcoordinates all functions in the unit. In partnership with themanagement team, the CNC monitors and evaluates nursing care inaccordance with established policies. The CNC serves as a resourcefor staff and supports an unparalleled patient experience.
What youwill do in this role: Partner with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate,customize, and deliver high quality, patient-centered care. Assist with admission and discharge processes. Partner with subject matter experts and leadership team tosupport improved outcomes and service. Provide coaching, feedback, and training to improve performanceand engagement. Assist with staff scheduling.
What qualifications you will need:
Required Education:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing or enroll ina BSN or advanced degree program and obtain a BSN within 5 years ofhire date into RN position. Grandfathering will be accepted betweendepartments and Mission Health entities. Exemptions, or extensions,may be approved by the facility CNO and reported out to the CNOCouncil members. Each facility will ensure tracking of exemptionsshould this information be needed. RNs with 10 years or more ofexperience are exempt.
Preferred Education:
Masters in Nursing.
Required License/Certifications:
Must have and maintain currentlicensure as a registered nurse with the North Carolina Board ofNursing. eNLC (Enhanced Nurse License Compact) license may apply,licensee should confirm with NCBON.
