The MDS is a licensed nurse who is responsible for the maintenance and timely completion and submission of the MDS, per RAI guidelines, and care plans for the members. He/She participates in new employee orientation, as well as, ongoing training related to ADL charting and documentation. He/She is Responsible for the implementation and training of staff in all phases of the Electronic Medical Record system. We offer excellent pay and benefits to part-time and full -time staff. Qualifications:

Nurse currently licensed in North Carolina. In-depth experience and knowledge working with MDS computer software. Experience with the MDS transmittal process and understanding regulations impacting MDS. Resident Assessment Coordinator-Certified (RAC-CT) recommended. Current CPR certification. Geriatric/rehabilitation experience with a good understanding of restorative nursing. Supervisory experience preferred. Active and Valid driver’s license. Successful completion of golf cart training program.
