Job Summary:

This position is responsible for providing nursing operations training and support for nursing coordination and administration staff. This position will develop workflow and training materials to identify and address gaps in process and will provide assistance to branches as needed to complete daily work tasks during staff shortages or growth.

Essential Duies and Responsibilities:

1. Act as a resource for nursing office administrative employees by assisting with and developing daily workflow efficiencies related to referral management, scheduling and ongoing coordination. 2. Ensure understanding of the utilization of software applications necessary for nursing workflows. 3. Ensure understanding of nursing billing practices, such as timely visit verification, visit entry and confirmation, and future visit projections for in-house and contract agency nursing. 4. Audit reports related to Alayacare and CPR functions to identify and address trends. 5. Provide one-on-one training to employees to provide support, improve competence in daily operations, and improve staff retention and job satisfaction. 6. Assist branches with daily workflow to assist with operational efficiency where there are increased workload demand and vacancies. 7. Provide companywide didactic training for new and existing employees on subject matter relevant to associated job duties. 8. Host routine meetings with nursing administrative employees for continued engagement and updates. 9. Other related duties as assigned by supervisor and Nursing executive team.

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

Minimum of an associate degree preferred or three years or greater of relevant experience in lieu of a college degree. Minimum of three (3) years’ experience working in a home health or other healthcare setting in an administrative support role such as a scheduler, biller, or other relevant title. Proficiency with company software and Microsoft Office.
