We are seeking a strong, experienced LPN to oversee all aspects of operating a unit within our healthcare facility, from supervising nursing staff to monitoring patient care.
Duties of Unit Manager:
Oversee unit Assist with treatment and medication administration Assist with Admissions Conduct audits of new admission charts Serve as liaison between family, patient, doctor and other departments Investigate all incident reports and follow-up Participate in managing staff and assignments to ensure quality of care Participate and report on patient conditions in daily meetings Participate in annual evaluations of staff
Qualifications:
Must have current NY LPN license Must have excellent leadership and communication skills 1 year experience in Long Term Care preferred Supervisory experience preferred •Competitive salary and benefits•
