- PediatricsSpecialty Clinic Coordinator Pediatrics Department Albany, NY TheLPN coordinates scheduling and care needs of patients needingoutpatient specialty physician services.
The LPN SpecialtyCoordinator anticipates the outpatient visit needs of a patient andassures appropriate equipment and supply availability for specialtyproviders for their patient visits. The LPN may also assist withclinical support of office visits, including but not limited to:patient rooming, chart updating, outside correspondence population,procedural support, both outside and within AMC facilities. At thedirection of their supervisor, the LPN may travel to the outsidefacilities for provider support Under the direction of theattending physician, RN, Lead LPN or practice coordinator, the LPNwill provide direct patient care and assist in the followingclinical functions to all providers. The Licensed Practical Nurse(LPN) serves as the primary contact and coordinator of referralsfor pediatric specialty patients seen at outside facilities. .

Qualifications:
High SchoolDiploma/G.E.D.
