$20,000 sign on bonus for night shift RNs. $15,000sign on bonus for day shift RNs. A 2-year commitment period isrequired. The Bonus payout occurs over the 2-year period.

The House Nursing Supervisorworks closely with all departments, Medical Staff, andAdministration to maximize the use of the hospitals’ resources toprovide quality patient care.

Education:
Baccalaureate degree in nursing (BSN) from an accreditedschool of nursing is preferred.
Minimum Experience:
A minimum oftwo (4) years experience acute care nursing practice that includessufficient clinical and management experience to ensure competence.
Licensure/Life Safety:
Current licensure as a registered nurse inthe State of North Carolina American Heart Association (AHA) BLSmust be current upon acceptance of position.
AHA ACLS
certificationor within 1 year of hire and maintain thereafter. AHA PALScertification or within 1 year of hire and maintain thereafter.
Skills:

Physical Demands andWorking Conditions Excessive walking, standing, stooping, assistingwith positioning of patients, lifting, and some sitting; frequentkeyboarding. This job poses the potential of occupational exposureto anesthetic gases, blood and body fluids, sharps, hospital gradecleaning solutions, flammable solutions; i.e. alcohol, latex, etc.in routine tasks performed. Work schedule may vary/fluctuatedependent on unit needs. Travel to other system facilities may benecessary.
Physical Requirements:
1. Ability to lift and move atleast 50 pounds. 2. Ability to see colors, see at least 1 mmsquares. 3. Ability to hear and distinguish heart, lung, and bowelsounds. 4. Ability to reach overhead. 5. Ability to remain calm,continue to function effectively and develop priorities duringstressful situations. 6. Ability to communicate effectively usingwritten and verbal media. 7.
