$86,650.99 – $134,309.04 The Assistant Nurse Manager performscoordination, planning, administrative management, financial andoperational duties in collaboration with the Administrative NursingSupervisor, Nurse Manager and Assistant Vice President of SpecialtyNursing Division. The Assistant Nurse Manager mentors professionalcaregivers in the delivery of patient care and facilitates patientaccess, communication, and transitions throughout the acute carestay. The Assistant Nurse Manager is visible and providesleadership for direct patient care provided by specialty nursingunit staff on the assigned primary shift of work. S/he assures thatcompetent, compassionate patient care is uniformly provided tocustomers including referring facilities, hospital staff andpatients in the inpatient, ambulatory, and community settings. TheAssistant Nurse Manager supports the development, implementation,and evaluation of policies, programs and services consistent withthe hospital’s mission and departmental/unit vision and philosophy.
Theye provides direction and support to unit-based staff andcollaborates with other service and department leaders towardattainment of short- and long-term goals and objectives.
