Salary Range:

$86,650.99 – $134,309.04 The Assistant Nurse Managerperforms coordination, planning, administrative management,financial and operational duties in collaboration with theAdministrative Nursing Supervisor, Nurse Manager and Assistant VicePresident of Specialty Nursing Division. The Assistant NurseManager mentors professional caregivers in the delivery of patientcare and facilitates patient access, communication, and transitionsthroughout the acute care stay. The Assistant Nurse Manager isvisible and provides leadership for direct patient care provided byspecialty nursing unit staff on the assigned primary shift of work.

S/he assures that competent, compassionate patient care isuniformly provided to customers including referring facilities,hospital staff and patients in the inpatient, ambulatory, andcommunity settings. The Assistant Nurse Manager supports thedevelopment, implementation, and evaluation of policies, programsand services consistent with the hospital’s mission anddepartmental/unit vision and philosophy. Theye provides directionand support to unit-based staff and collaborates with other serviceand department leaders toward attainment of short- and long-termgoals and objectives. Assistant Nurse Manager in the Post- SurgicalDivision; off shift and weekend coverage.
