Responsibilities include the development of all nursing service personnel, performance management, evaluation, monitoring staffing needs, policy and procedures, and communication with resident and family members. The Unit Manager will work on our Long-Term Care and Memory Support Unit.

General Responsibilities:

1. Plans, develops, organizes, implements, and evaluates Nursing Services program in the Care Center to ensure continuity of residents’ total regiment of care, in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines; Participates in pre-admission assessment data collection; Manages admissions, transfers, and discharge residents as required 2. Supports, evaluates, and implements written policies and procedures that govern the day-to-day functions of the Care Center 3. Responsible for all aspects of care planning and documentation for respective neighborhood MDS 4. In tandem with the Director of Nursing, maintains accurate staffing levels to meet Resident care needs, including monitoring of over time

Education/Training:

Current State license to practice as a Registered Nurse required.

Experience:

One year experience in Medicare in a Nursing home environment preferred
