RN Radiology Clinical Lead Full Time Days Position Summary:

Assists with coordinating the daily workflow of Radiology RN within the Imaging department including moderate sedation, MRI pacemakers, NM Stress Tests, and PICC/mid-line insertions Coordinate the radiology RN schedule and time off requests to ensure coverage at both Medical Centers Coordinate the radiology RN on-call schedule for weekend stress tests Provides safe and effective nursing care to all patients utilizing the nursing process during invasive and noninvasive radiology procedures. Assist with maintaining nursing compliance with Joint Commission, federal, state and local regulatory laws, standards, and protocols Coordinate training and orienting of new Radiology RNs to the imaging department Responsible for initial and annual Radiology RN competencies Responsible for initial and annual Radiology RN evaluations Responsible for coordinating workflow efficiencies for IR procedure scheduling Assist with overseeing the implementation of POC testing in radiology Responsible for maintaining Radiology RN protocols under the direction of the Medical Director Supports all activities according to policy and procedures, philosophy, goals, and mission statement of SC Novant Health Hilton Head Regional facilities.

RN Radiology Clinical Lead Full Time Days Position Requirements:

Education:

1. Current State of South Carolina Registered Nurse license. 2. BSN, preferred

Experience:

1. Minimum three (3) year nursing experience in radiology required. 2. Moderate sedation experience, required. 3. PICC- and mid-line experience, required.

Other Qualifications:

1. Current BLS certification required.
