We rely on and trust our Nurse Supervisor (RN) to provideindependent supervision of the delivery of care to a group ofresidents in a nursing unit. Assess resident needs, developindividual care plans, administer nursing care, and evaluatenursing care. Supervise Licensed Practical Nurses, Care Specialists(CNA) and other personnel. Assure that effective quality nursing care isdelivered which is outcome focused through utilization of thenursing process. Identify needs and provide input for dischargeplanning and follow-up throughout length of stay Developindividualized plan of care in collaboration with theresident/responsible party and interdisciplinary care team.
Implement plan of care consistently, effectively and costefficiently with focus on resident centered outcomes by utilizingall appropriate, available resources forresident/family/responsible party counseling and dischargeplanning. Work in collaboration with physician and/or other healthcare professionals by sharing information relevant to changing planof care. Deliver and maintain optimum resident care and comfort bydemonstrating knowledge and skills of current nursing practices.
Qualifications:
Must hold and maintain a current license topractice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in practicing state Must holdand maintain a current CPR certification. Licensed nursing staffare required to obtain their CPR certification within 90 days ofhire. Recent clinical experience, education, or specialty skillsspecific to geriatrics Demonstrate understanding that state andFederal rules and regulations govern the practices within thefacility Ongoing pursuit of Continuing Education Credits inclinical subjects, management, personal growth and development Mustbe capable of maintaining regular attendance
