Responsibilities:

As a Unit Manager/Director – RN where within anassigned unit you will support the Director of Nursing with thedelivery of high quality care while achieving positive clinicaloutcomes, and patient/resident, family and employee satisfaction.

Lead, guide and direct the overall operations, coordination anddirection of nursing and patient/resident care for an assignednursing unit. Ensure that patient/resident care delivery isconsistent with the mission, vision, values and policies of GenesisHealthCare and in accordance with accepted standards of practice,state and federal regulations and licensing requirements.

Collaborate with staff, physicians, rehabilitation therapy andother professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes forpatients on assigned nursing unit. Manage the human resources inassigned unit to include limiting use of overtime and agencypersonnel, recruiting and orientating staff, assessing the workperformance of nursing staff, and implementing disciplinary actionwhen necessary.

Qualifications:

Must be graduate of an accreditedschool of nursing, college or university. Current Registered Nurselicensure by the State Board of Nursing is required.

USD $80,000.00 – USD $87,360.00 /Yr.
